Intrigued by the dichotomy between the melancholy lyrics and happy music, Rizk approached the song with the intention of creating a more "fitting" rendition. Backing away from the fast pace of the original hip hop song, Elie's vision comes to fruition with a slow burning organ part, soulful vocal harmonies, and an acoustic guitar entrance that feels like something off Beck's most recent album.
